Pilgrim Fathers, Leiden, Netherlands

This canal picture is the departure point for the pilgrims. The ruins are the remnant of the church where they met while they were in Holland. (soon to be torn down completely) I am standing in front on John Robinson's home and death place. He was one of the leaders that took the Seperatists from England to Holland but got sick and couldn't go on the Mayflower. He is one of your great grandfathers. Interesting to note that the pilgrim marker lists a Bassett, a Winslow (Brasher ancestor) and then several Blodgett Ancestors including Bradfords, Carvers and others.
