The fire marshal came and told dad they expected the fire to jump the road at our place, so dad got out the tractor and tilled up everything he could--to make a bigger fire break before J & J's home. Amy and I went up on top and pulled out the restrictor in the irrigation canal so we could run as many springklers as we needed to.

Amy took most of the pictures. There are some good ones of the helicopters dumping water, but I've not been successful with Picaso. My computer says its over worked and out of memory. No more webkins on grandma's computer.

That is soooo scary! we are glad none of you got hurt.
Yikes! I am so grateful that all is well for our family. I feel bad for the people that had land burned.
