Grandma's Grape Juice

I've been meaning to put these up for a while. This is from our last visit. This is how Grandma painstakingly makes all that grape juice we like to gulp down.
First you cut the grapes off the vines
Then you snip them off into individual little grapes
Boil and sanitize all the lids and jars
Then you stick all the grapes in the steamer and wait for the juice to come out!
Here it goes! When it comes, it comes out really quick.

You let it cool and make sure it seals well
This is what is left in the bottom of the steamer. The grapes minus the juice!
Thanks Mom/Grandma for the delicious juice. We love it!

Thanks for posting that Emy! I miss grape juice season. I remember how hard it was to pick the top vines of grapes at the Lemon Street house and having to fight the bees for the best bunches. When I tried making grape juice myself when mom was gone-it wasn't as much fun. I like being the helper rather than the chief in that business. I hope you're getting lots of help, mom! We love you.
