This was about 12 hours into the storm, Saturday afternoon. It started to lighten up a bit and so we went out to do some pre-snow shoveling...mostly because we wanted to get out of the house.
This is my car post the first storm, Sunday afternoon...it took a little while to get out.
My street on Sunday afternoon. The smart people were cleaning off their cars as the storm progressed.
The park by my house and the picnic tables that look suspiciously like layered cakes. I just wanted to get on a high precipice and jump into the snow.
WHICH I DID DO! This is Saturday night after the storm subsided. My friend and I played for about an hour. You can see me up in the top right hand corner. She was a little trigger happy on the camera though and didn't get me posing just a little further out from the wall...she did make me do it three or so times (you can see where I landed) but this was the best one. (And when I say "friend" I mean friend, end of story.)
Trudging through was the best part. I felt like I was in that movie The Day After Tomorrow.
Making snow angels in jeans wasn't the funnest thing, it was even worse that I had to sit in the snow for 5 minutes waiting for the camera to go! It doesn't look very good here, but it turned out excellent.

I miss the snow!!!
You are crazy. Thanks for sharing!
Forget the record breaking amount of snow... I'm not satisfied with the "friend" and "end of story" comments. This is the kind of stuff that makes the post interesting! :)
holy snow! i don't think i've even seen it like that in utah, i'll count myself as lucky. but it looks like you had fun!! aside from all the snow shoveling...
@Julie: hahaha no one ever is just satisfied with that, but I still hoped to placate you all... No really that's all it is; a girl that I was spending time/going on dates with and now we are just friends. Nothing more; promise.
You're just holding out for a Cali girl once you get back here, hun Peter?
