This was 1/2 of the "Shotguns" team of the Brasher cousins. We were van #2. We had a great time - that's what makes this race fun and unique - your team!

This is John running the first half of the "Ragnar" up Gardsman Pass. You can see Heber valley in the back where we came from. John and Tom did an incredible job running up a mountain at 6000 ft. + above sea level (this is a huge adjustment for us Californians).

This is Tom completing the "Ragnar" run up Gardsman pass. Do you see Heber valley below in the background? That's where we came from..... amazing! Tom did awesome!

Peter, Julie, Elise Larson, and Katie Sorenson (Larson). We are up on the same hill (mountain) Tom was running up. Heber valley in the background where we came from. We're on our way up and over Gardsman Pass.

Peter the rock!!! He rocked every single one of his three legs.

All done - riding the gondola down from the finish line. Julie was the last runner.

You guys are awesome. Thanks for sharing
Must have been fun to be in the family van. I was with our dumb cousins! (jk lol lmao ttfn)
In the pictures of John, Tom and Peter running there are no other racers. That must be because:
a. You were so far out in front of everyone else,
b. You had someone stopping all of the racers behind you for the photo op, or
c. ....???
Hey now - don't jump to conclusions!
If you must know our team start time wasn't until 1:30 in the afternoon the day before, so most runners were already done. Everyone knows the faster teams (like the BYU track team) start later in the day - this would apply to us as well, of course!
look closer at John's picture, there is someone in red shorts WALKING just behind John. John had just barely passed the person (or as we call them "road kill")
