Random - JOEY

This is me trying to convince Joey to get off the goose poo, get away from the pond, and come in the house! With his cowboy boots on and the yellow flowers, it turned into a fun picture. Thought I'd share.

Joey's 3rd birthday. Don't be fooled - the smile isn't because he loves the cape, the smile is for the photo moment. Turned out to be too cute! Thought I'd share.

Julie's 1st "Grandma Anne style" quilt!  

This is a gift from me to Sam for his 12th birthday which was 6 months ago.  I started last August, but tackling the art docent program as soon as school started, and working on the ward Halloween and Christmas activities (which pretty much ruined my life) I got off to a slow start. As soon as Christmas was over... well, you can guess I was ready to finish this project.  I worked while in Disneyland, ran out of thread, and finished the last 3 feet last night.  I'm pretty proud of myself.  It'll be a while until I tackle another quilt project!

WE RAN A MARATHON!!!

Training since the end of July - we had a goal to finish in 4 hours. We finished in 4 hrs. 7 min. - so close! The last 5 miles were really tough. Our average pace was 9:28 minute miles. And, believe it or not, Julie finished 3rd place in her age bracket!

The pumpkins I ended up carving (with lots of advice) - trying to hurry before it got dark. Joey is a baseball player who doesn't really like to dress up!

Here are some more pictures from the Brasher's trip out to Arizona.

Julie wanted to know how to download these pictures onto your personal computer. Here goes. Click on the picture you want. The next window will be the photo at it's full size. Right click while hovering over the pictures and select save as. Title the picture, and there you have it. Call me if you have any questions. If you want a picture from a slide show: click on the slide show. It will take you to the slide show on the picasa website. From there you can look at the individual pictures and download any that you want.
